Puppetry: the perfect art for all students PART 1

Puppetry arts can bring magic to the classroom encouraging even the most timid artist to tell their story. This hands-on workshop will present the basic elements of puppetry manipulation and construction methods, using simple materials such as paper, tape, fabric and bamboo. Heather will guide the group through a number of exercises that are easily adaptable to many levels of abilities and interest. She will also discuss project ideas that you can bring back to your classroom to guide your students through a collaborative creative process to produce a puppetry performance.
