This professional dialogue will start by establishing some key terminology, inspired by shared values, then take off with some guiding questions, ending in a resource share. It’s been a challenging few years across the province; we are all working toward increased capacity, more cultural competency, and a more student-centred classroom, inclusively and collaboratively. We are all at different stages of learning and unlearning, on the path toward decolonization, better representation and more equitable opportunities for all students to be seen in the work we create. What practices have you implemented, for keeps? Where are your blindspots and how can we support each other to address them? Participants are encouraged to bring 10 copies of a resource (lesson plan, script, etc) to share. A shared Google doc will be created out of this session, where your resources can also be shared digitally.
